Happy to annunce the new release of Scopa free app for Android. In this new release I added a new deck of cards: siciliane. Moreover the AI was improved.

Scopa v1.1.9 was released!

Hi all! With much pleasure we annunce that a new release of the Scopa Free App was released! The new release introduces the feature to play games at 11, 15 or 21 points and activate/deactivate the vibrate on game events.

These features have actually requested a lot from Scopa players so we're very happy to present them. There are also other interesting features we're still working, we'd like to push a new realase before Xstmas. Stay tuned to find out what's new is waiting for you!  ;-)

Briscola v1.1.8 was released!

After a long period of silence we came back with some interesting news!
During last months we continued working strongly on the application to give you the best experience with our games.
And now we're very happy to annunce today the new update for Briscola Free for Android that introduces the multiplayer gaming mode. Yes.. infact now you can play also with real players over internet..
all over the world!
This sounds amazing if you consider you can do in directly on your mobile, isn't it?
We will dedicate a new post about Briscola Multiplayer so that you can send feedback and help requests.

The new release also introduces very important bug fixes (es. score calculation, last hand freeze, correct displaying on tablets, etc) but also new features like 2 new cards decks.

Scopa v1.1.6 was released!

With this new update, I added into Scopa free application the option to choose between two game levels: easy and hard. If you feel strong with this game you have to play in hard mode  ;-)  ..and the android in your cellphone will do his best to win aganist you!!

I also fixed a trouble on the last hand: now scope are correctly counted.
I need to say thankyou(!) to all the people who found out and reported this issue: thanks to ermod, micheleb, and the guys who left comments on this blog. Scopa is better thanks to YOU!

Briscola v1.1.5 was released!

I'm very happy to introduce all of you, the last update of Briscola free app for Android!!
Summer is finished, and Briscola's sister -the Scopa App ;-)- moves her first steps alone letting me to pay attentions back to Briscola.
In this new release I worked to fix a lot of small bugs with the result to finally have the app more stable.
But also I added the feature two important features:  App2SD and support for devices with small screens.

Scopa v1.1.1 was released!

Yesterday I released a new upgrade of Scopa free app for Android, that includes important news. The application now looks better on devices with small screen size. I also changed some graphic elements, improved the performances using much more multithreading and async functions in the code, speed up the startup phase and add one new animation at the beginning when drawing cards on the table.
 If you want to suggest any new feature you'd like I'll introduce don't hesitate: leave a comment! ;-)

Scopa is enjoying success in the Android market!

During last days Scopa free app for Android overpassed 50.000 downloads: this actually is an important and unexpected achivement reached in a very little time! Thankyou to all the people who appreciated this little cards game, I'm working to improve the application and add more interesting features.
Soon a new release will be available to the market for free download/upgrade.. keep it upgraded  ;-)

Scopa v1.0.1 was released!

Here we are! After the unexpected success of Briscola free application let me introduce Scopa free for Android! Scopa is the tipical italian cards game.. who can't play it??

As for Briscola, Scopa mandatory requires internet access in order to display adv banner, this allow the app to keep free.
This is the first release, will follow updates to add more features (other cards deck, game levels, sound, etc) and improvements. Have fun!!!

Thanks all the people who gave me suggestions or left comments: these are all precious information always considered by me. I tried to improve the application adding new features and fixing misbehaviours. But the work goes ahead... :) Briscola is the first application I developed for Android and I'm not an expert yet: if you experience any trouble assure to have the app upgraded to the last release available on the market and then feel free to leave a feedback here. I'll be thankyou!
For someone who wrote that the app sometimes is slow replying to the tap event on the player cards, I can say now that I worked a lot around source of the problem and now it works better if even these kinds of trouble in general may depends on what's running or what's doing the device on a particular moment. Update the app and let me know! Cheers!

I just wanted to thanks all for appreciating Briscola free game for Android! I'm seeing so many downloads of the application and I never expected them since I was writing the first code line of the app! Undoubtedly  a great success! Just to give an idea: over than 1k matches each day during last week!! Very very soon (tonight?) I'll release a new upgrade on the Google market that provide two new features for the application. This release of the application game was released some days ago, you can download it for free on the SlideMe market and soon also on Google Market, I'm thinking about publishing it there too.

Thankyou so much for all the download: about then 1,4K in 1 month (!!), a great result!
